Newly married, just weeks into his married life, he was called to the battle, led a tank attack into India and was shaheed fighting like a tiger on Sialkot front. His young dignified wife kept waiting for him... later she was my school teacher in Karachi, carrying the grace and dignity of a shaheed's wife.
