Zaid Hamid’s mother narrates the amazing family story of 1965 war

Let us give you an amazing surprise :)

MashAllah, she is my mother, the brave mujahida who has played a huge part in making what I am today. MashAllah, Ami saw the creation of Pakistan, participated in Pakistan movement as one of the youngest members of Muslim league in Delhi, saw and suffered the trial of fire and sword, sacrificed her home, migrated to Pakistan, sister of two officers of Pakistani armed forces, herself became wife of an officer of Pakistan army to defend Pakistan, joined women guards, national guards to become a woman soldier of Pakistan and then faced the tests and trials of 1965 and 1971 wars. Raised her son to be a Mujahid in Afghanistan to defend Pakistan and Ummat e Rasul (sm) and now narrates an amazing family tale of her experience in 1965 war when Abba Jan was a gunner officer for defense of Sialkot and I was just a baby in her lap.

My children now sit around Dadi Jan and listen to her amazing stories. Here, we bring an episode for you all.

Love and dua
